Document Part 3 Section 2C General Delegations to Officers

This document set out the general functions that have been delegated to Directors by the Council. It includes matters such as payments in case of maladministration functions relating to health and safety and the enforcement of bylaws. Though a finction has been delegated to a Director either generally or specifically they may arrange for the delagation to be exercised by another officer of suitable experience and seniority. This is called sub-delegation and each Director has a sub-delegation scheme which specifies how such functions should be carried out.
