and the site has been identified for housing development. The site
has previously been declared surplus. The Chief Asset Management
and Regeneration Officer has approved: (a) The terms provisionally
agreed for the acquisition by the Council of the leasehold interest
and :(b) That the cost of the acquisition be met from the
Council’s Housing Revenue Account (c ) A recommendation that
the cost of demolition be met from the Council’s Derelicts
and Nuisance Programme budget, approval for which to be sought by
way of a separate Design and Cost Report.
