Decision details

YORbuild regional construction framework re-procurement

Reference: D41668

Decision Maker: Director of City Development

Is Key decision?: Yes

Is subject to call in?: Yes

Purpose:

Commencement of re-procurement of framework arrangements for YORbuild regional construction framework and for Leeds to continue as framework lead for West region.  The decision is to re-procure a framework arrangement (which is itself a Key Decision under Contracts Procedure Rule 3.1.8), and not at this stage to enter into a construction contract.

Reason Key: Expenditure > £250,000;

Wards Affected: (All Wards);

If the decision has not been published in the List of Forthcoming Key Decisions for at least 28 clear days, the reason why it would be impracticable to delay the decision:: The current framework does not expire until 3 December 2015. However the regional authorities involved are working to a programme which anticipates that each of the 4 regional sub-frameworks will be advertised in the Official Journal of the EU (OJEU) in mid-October, and resources are programmed to deal with the pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) returns in December. Extension of the programme for a further month could prejudice the overall programme and incur additional resource costs.
