The Deputy Director, Learning, Skills and
Universal Services agreed to:
• Approve the request to award the contract in the sum of
£9,449,875 to Local Education Partnership (LEP) for the
construction of a generic SEN new build 150 place provision on the
former Blenheim Centre site to enable expansion of the North East
SILC;
• Approve the request to enter into the independent certifier
appointments, collateral warranties from the main building
contractor and the professional team and parent company guarantees;
and
• Approve the request to enter into other documents that the
Built Environment Programme Manager considers necessary to proceed
with the project.
