The Chief Officer (Highways and
Transportation):
i) approved the design and implementation of ‘No
Stopping’ (8am - 5pm Mon to Fri) restriction on the School
Keep Clear markings on Frances Street, outside Westroyd Primary
school and on New Street (between Newlands and The Boulevard) in
Farsley. Details are shown on drawing no: TM-8-2322-12-03.
ii) approved the design and implementation of a Speed Table at the
location of New Street, junction with Newlands and Clara Street,
Farsley. Details are indicated on the attached drawing
TM-8-2322-12-03, at a commulative cost of £22,000.
iii) gave authority to display a Notice under the provision of
Section 90c of the Highways Act 1980, to inform members of the
public of traffic calming measures in the form of a Speed Table on
New Street, junction with Newlands and Clara Street, Farsley as
indicated on the attached drawing no: TM-8-2322-12-03.
iv) requested the City Solicitor to:
a) Advertise a draft Traffic Regulation Order to introduce
‘No Stopping’ (8am - 5pm Mon to Fri) restrictions on
the School Keep Clear markings on Frances Street outside Westroyd
Primary school and on New street (between Newlands and The
Boulevard), Farsley and if no valid objections are received, to
request that the City Solicitor make, seal and implement the order
as advertised. Details are as shown on drawing no:
TM-8-2322-12-03.
b) Advertise a notice under Section 90C of the Highways Act 1980 to
provide traffic calming measures, in the form of a speed table on
New Street, at its junction with Newlands and Clara Street,
Farsley.
