Purpose:

Decision to put in place an appropriate agreement or contract with an Academy Trust in order to fund set-up costs for interim learning provision for children and young people with SEMH needs so that learning provision is in place and can accept students. The interim provision is required during the development of permanent provision set out in the Executive Board paper in November 2015.

Decision:

The Director of Children’s Services approved the decision to enter in to a Public Body to Public Body Co-operation Agreement with Wellspring Academy Trust in the sum of £312.500.

The Director of Children’s Services approved the Wellspring Academy Trust are paid at the start of the agreement; and notes that the officer responsible for implementation is the Head of Learning Improvement by June 2016.
