The Head of Transportation:

i) Authorised, subject to public consultation, the detailed design and implementation of a scheme to introduce a 20 mph zone in the Ledston area of Kippax and Methley including the introduction of a buffer of 60-40mph speed limit change leading up to the zone, as shown on drawing number TME-21-2557-01-CONa;

ii) Requested the City Solicitor to:
a) Advertise a draft Speed Limit Order, to introduce a 20 mph zone in the Ledston area of Kippax and Methley including the introduction of a buffer of 60-40mph speed limit change leading up to the zone, as shown on drawing TME-21-2557-01-CONa; and

iii) Gave authority to incur expenditure of £7,500 which comprises of £1,500 works costs, £4,000 Staff fees and £2,000 legal fees, all to be funded from the LTP Transport Policy Capital Programme.
