Purpose:

Approval to create 5 Occupational Therapy posts to work over a 7 day rota as part of the Recovery service, supporting home based reablement and short term beds delivered by the Council.

Decision:

The Director of Adults and Health approved the establishment of 5FTE new posts for registered Occupational Therapists to work a 7 day rota, 8am to 8pm to provide therapy support to the Recovery Service. 

The Director of Adults and Health approved the establishment of a 0.61FTE Disability Team Manager to develop, line manage and provide professional supervision to the team.

 

The Director of Adults and Health approved the recurrent spend of £271,490 for the purpose of creating a dedicated Occupational Therapy Team for the Recovery Service.

 

Implementation will be by the Disability Service Manager from 3rd May 2017
