Purpose:

Request approval for injection of £377,500 into the Capital Programme and request Authority to spend £377,500.

There are no revenue implications for Leeds City Council for this activity. This decision enables the Council to fulfil is role as accountable body working on behalf of Public Health England to hold and distribute funding for successful applicants to the PHE Capital Grant Programme in Leeds.

 

This is a key decision as expenditure is over £250,000.

 

Decision:

The Director of Public Health gave approval to inject £377,500 into

the Capital Programme and gave Authority to spend the same

£377,500 so that Holgate House are able to buy and refurbish a

property.

 

This will allow clients, who have been through their existing

residential rehabilitation service, to access a supported living "step

down" service to consolidate and maintain their recovery.

 

The building work will not create any additional capital or revenue

investment by the Council.
