The Chief Officer of Shared Services has approved the award of a contract for the provision of a taxi service for business related journeys to Pennock and Ivory Limited trading as Amber Cars.
The Chief Officer has considered a report explaining the reason for the award of the contract and the joint competitive tender exercise undertaken with Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust (LTHT). The tender evaluation panel, made up of members from both LTHT and the Council, determined that Pennock & Ivory Limited t/a Amber Cars are best placed to deliver the service and have the relevant skills, experience and capabilities to support both organisations.
