To seek agreement to start the re-tender exercise for the Advice Leeds Contract.
The Director of Communities and Environment agreed that the re-tender exercise commences to ensure a new contract is granted and in place for 1st April 2018.
Leeds Advice Consortium was awarded the contract in April 2014 to provide an Advice Service for Leeds. This was a 3 year contract with the option of 2, 1 year extensions.
The new contract will initially be for 3 years and then will roll over annually if funding is available and the service is still demonstrating that they are providing a quality service which is value for money.
