Purpose:

To approve injection into the capital programme and give Authority to Spend of £600,000 grant funding from the Department for Transport under the Local Transport Capital Block Funding.

 

Decision:

The Chief Officer (Highways and Transportation):

i)  Gave authority to inject £600,000 additional grant award from Department for Transport into the Leeds Bridges Capital Programme for the 2017/18 financial year.

ii)  Gave authority to incur expenditure of £600,000 on Linton Bridge as a priority with any remaining funds to be distributed as approved by Executive Board on 22 June 2016.

This is additional funding provided by the Department for Transport to contribute to flood damage approved by Executive Board on 22 June 2016. No further consultation is proposed.
