Purpose:

To extend the regional Framework Agreement led by Leeds City Council and involving 11 other local authorities across the Yorkshire and Humber for the provision of leaving care services for children and young people. 

It enables Local Authorities to make placements as required but there is no commitment to any expenditure.

This request is to seek approval to extend the framework agreement for the extension period of 12-months from 18/12/2017 to 18/12/2018.

Decision:

The Deputy Director of Children & Families agreed to:

 

·  Extend the framework agreement White Rose Looked After Children 16+ Leaving Care and Vulnerable Young People Accommodation and Support framework for a period of 12 months from 19/12/17;

·  Vary the framework agreement to reflect the changes to the tiering following the undertaking of the refresh process; and

·  Award to new providers following the undertaking of the refresh.
