Purpose:

For the Director of Adults and Health to approve the use of the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a notice in relation to the award of contract to MHA for extra care services at Assisi Place, Hunslet. The contract will run from 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2023 in the first instance.

 

For the Director of Adults and Health to approve the use of the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a notice in relataon to the award of contract to Anchor for extra care services at The Laureates, Guiseley. The contract will run from 1st April 2018 to 31st March 2023 in the first instance.

 

Decision:

The Director of Adults and Health approved the recommendation to the use of waiver 9.1 and 9.2 to award 12-month contracts to MHA (Assisi Place) and Anchor (The Laureates) for extra care services at their respective schemes. Contracts are to commence 1st April 2018 at an annual value in the region of £285,000.00 for Assisi Place (MHA) and £120,000.00 for The Laureates (Anchor).

 

The Director of Adults and Health approved the recommendation to the use of negotiated procedure without prior publication of a notice under Regulation 32 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 during the 12-month period with the goal of establishing long-term contracts with both existing providers. The outcome of these negotiations and the recommendation to award contracts will be presented as a significant operational decision.
