Purpose:

Approval to award a call-off order under the Bytes Software Framework for the provision of Commoditised Software and Services. 

The Call-Off will cover requirements for a 12-month period (1st April 2024 – 31st March 2025) to allow business continuity whilst we consider and plan a new procurement to replace the outgoing framework.

The current Framework expires on 15th April 2024, we can enter Call-Off Agreements prior to that time, no new Call-Off Agreements can be raised after that.

Decision:

The Director of Strategy and Resources gave approval to award a call-off contract under the council’s current software framework agreement for a 12-month period from 16th April 2024 to 15th April 2025 for continued provision of our COTS (Commercial off the Shelf) software and professional services for the period of 12 months.  The call-off contract will be awarded based on no minimum commitment on spend, and with a maximum allowable spend not to exceed £5,000,000.
