Decision:

The Acting Head of Transport Policy
i) authorised the detailed design and subsequent implementation of a scheme to introduce a 20 mph zone in West Ardsley;

ii) requested the City Solicitor to:
a) Advertise a draft Speed Limit Order, to introduce a 20 mph zone in West Ardsley, as shown on drawing number TMW-3-2-604-5;

b) Advertise a draft Traffic Regulation Order to introduce a formal restriction, subject to consultation with the individual schools, on the existing school keep clear markings outside Westerton and Black Gates Primary Schools as shown on drawing number TMW-3-2-604-5 and, if no valid objections are received make, seal and implement the Order as advertised; and

c) Advertise a notice under Section 90c of the Highways Act 1980 to provide traffic calming measures as shown on the drawing number TMW-3-2-604-5.

iii) Give authority to incur expenditure of £26,000, which comprises of £18,000 works costs, £6,000 Staff fees and £2,000 legal fees, all to be funded from the LTP Transport Policy Capital Programme.
