The Acting Head of Transport Policy:
i) noted the contents of this report;
ii) approved the detailed design and implementation of a scheme to
remove the existing traffic calming features on Foundry Lane,
Seacroft, between Wykebeck Valley Road and the A64 York Road, as
shown on the attached drawing number TM_E/20.2/7-4 and replace them
with a more appropriate system;
iii) gave authority to incur expenditure of £75,000
comprising £60,000 works costs and, £15,000 staff costs
funded from the LTP Transport Policy Capital Programme; and, if no
valid objections are received, to implement the proposals as
advertised;
iv) instructed the City Solicitor to draft, advertise and arrange
to display on site a Notice under the provisions of Section 90C of
the Highways Act 1980 for the traffic calming proposals, as show on
drawing number TM_E/20.2/7-41. and, if no valid objections are
received, to implement the proposals as advertised.
