Purpose:

Approval to appoint contractors on to a framework contract for the provision of a service to accept and deal with a variety of waste streams including garden waste collected from the kerbside of Leeds residential properties but also a range of other waste streams collected through the Councils 8 HWSS’s, and to the award of tonnages for the first part year of the contract and one full contract year.

Decision:

The Director Environments and Housing approved the outcome of a formal procurement exercise to appoint contractors on to a framework contract for the recycling and composting of a range of waste streams (primarily collected through kerbside brown bin collections and HWSS’s), and to the award tonnages for the first full contract year.
