Purpose:

To approve an accelerated programme of highway refurbishment in the Little London and Beeston Hill and Holbeck Housing PFI areas to deliver the objectives of the project that were not eligible for PFI funding.  The work to be done over a two year period 2016 to 2018.

 

Decision:

The Chief Officer (Highways and Transportation):

i)  authorised the expenditure of £1,430,000 (£1,303,000 works and £127,000 staff costs) over the years 2016/17 and 2017/18 funded from Leeds City council borrowing; and

 

ii)  noted the programme of works in Appendix A and the proposed phasing over two years.
