Purpose:

The Director of Adults and Health will be requested to approve:

 

  • The waiver of contract procedure rules 9.1 and 9.2 in order to award interim contracts to St Anne's Community Services from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019.
  • The provision of a Residential Alcohol Detoxification Service.
  • The provision of a Resídential Alcohol Rehabilitation Service in.

 

The value of each contract will exceed [250,000 per annum.

 

The funding and contractual arrangements will be with the Adults and Health Directorate.

 

Decision:

The Director of Adults and Health approved the waiver of Contract Procedure Rules (CPRs) 9.1 (requirement of competition) and 9.2 (invitation of a minimum of four written tenders) using the authority set out in CPR 1.3, in relation to high value procurements to award to St Anne’s Community Services:

-  a twelve month contract for provision of a Residential Alcohol Detoxification Service in the sum of £282,860 commencing on 1 April 2018.

-  a twelve month contract for provision of a Residential Alcohol Rehabilitation Service in the sum of £314,314 commencing on 1 April 2018.

The awarding of these contrants will ensure continuity of service provision while longer term commissioning arrangements for these services are put in place.
