To approve the minutes of the Development Plan Panel meeting held on 5^th December 2006

  RESOLVED -  That the minutes of the Development Plan Panel meeting held on 5^th December 2006 be approved

To consider the Inspector’s report on Leeds’ Statement of Community Involvement

(report attached)

  The Panel received a report setting out the Inspector’s recommendations on the Leeds SCI

  Appended to the report was a copy of the Inspector’s report, details of the Tests of Soundness and at Appendix B, the suggested changes proposed by officers.  A revised version of Appendix B was tabled at the meeting

  The Panel noted that the Inspector had made only minor changes to the SCI and had satisfied the Inspector on seven of the nine tests of soundness, with only minor amendments being required to meet the remaining two tests.  On behalf of the Panel the Chair congratulated officers for their work on this matter

  RESOLVED –

  i)  To note the Inspector’s recommendations and reasons contained in his binding report on the Council’s SCI

  ii)  To recommend to Executive Board that it recommends to Council that it adopts the SCI as amended in accordance with the Inspector’s report pursuant to Section 23 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004
