To receive and consider the attached report of the Head of Elections, Licensing and Registration.

The report of the Head of Elections, Licensing and Registration presented an application for a premises licence at Winston’s Health and Leisure, DRH Health, 295 Dewsbury Road, Hunslet, Leeds, LS11 5LS.

Representations to the application had been made by West Yorkshire Police, Environmental Protection and a local Ward Councillor.

The applicant, Mr Dan Hall, made a request that the hearing be adjourned as his legal representative was unavailable due to a pre-existing Court commitment.  The Sub-Committee was advised that correspondence had been provided by the applicant’s legal representative which expanded upon the request for the adjournment.  West Yorkshire Police did not oppose the adjournment  request. It was noted that Police had asked for the application be subject to a site visit.

RESOLVED – That the application be adjourned to the meeting of the Licensing Sub-Committee to be held on Tuesday, 28 February 2017 with a site visit to take place prior to the hearing.
