Following consideration of this matter by
Licensing Committee on 17th December 2013 (report attached) the
Head of Licensing and Registration approved the policy in respect
of the introduction of 3 yearly DBS checks on licensed drivers,
Hackney carriage proprietors and private hire operators. It is
noted that the issue may be subject to review by Members in
future.
