The Head of Licensing and Registration
approved the introduction of an annual on-line DBS Status check for
licensed hackney carriage and private hire drivers, which provides
financial benefit to licence holders and increased access to
notifiable information for licensing Officers, as recommended by
Licensing Committee at its meeting on 9 December 2014
