The Chief Officer (Highways and Transportation):

i) Approved the design and implementation of ‘No Stopping’ (7am - 7pm Mon to Fri) restriction on School Keep Clear markings at two separate locations on Fairfield Hill, Bramley. Details are shown on drawing 1062456-017-001/1 and 1062456-017-001/2.

ii) Approved the design and implementation of a scheme to introduce a zebra crossing at the location of Broad Lane, near its junction with Beecroft Crescent, Bramley as indicated on the attached drawing 1062456-017-001/3.

iii) The estimated total cost to implement this schemes £28,000 which comprises of £20,000 works, £3,000 legal fees and £5,000 staff fees.

iv) Requested the City Solicitor to:
a) advertise a draft Traffic Regulation Order to introduce ‘No Stopping’ (7am - 7pm Mon to Fri) restrictions on School Keep Clear markings at two separate locations along Fairfield Hill, Bramley and if no valid objections are received, to request that the City Solicitor make, seal and implement the order as advertised. Details are as shown on drawing 1062456-017-001/1 and 1062456-017-001/2.

b) give authority to display a notice on site under the provision of Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in order to inform the public of the proposed zebra crossing.
