The Chief Officer (Highways and
Transportation):
i) noted and approved the contents of this report;
ii) approved the introduction of a draft Traffic Regulation Order
(TRO) to restrict stopping by implementing ‘School Keep
Clear’ markings between the hours of 8am – 6pm Monday
to Friday as shown on drawing number EP-994610-01-01; and
iii) approved the introduction of a draft waiting restriction TRO
to introduce no waiting at any time and time limited waiting
between the hours of 7.45am – 9.15am and 2.45pm –
3.45pm Monday to Friday inclusive as shown on drawing No.
EP-994610-01-01; and
iv) Instructed the City Solicitor to advertise the draft Traffic
Regulation Order restrictions as shown on drawing No.
EP-994610-01-01 and if no valid objections are received, to request
that the City Solicitor make, seal and implement the Order as
advertised; and
v) approved the construction of a number of build-outs to form
speed reduction measures and informal crossing points, and
introduce pedestrian guardrail.
