The Chief Officer, Economy and Regeneration
has:
1. Acknowledged the request from Executive Board in July 2016 to
support the FutureLabs Tech Hub in the short and medium term.
2. Approved a £200,000 grant to be awarded to FutureLabs in
order to help fund ongoing costs of the Tech Hub in Leeds city
centre from
September 2016 - December 2017, and make arrangements for this
to
be paid from the £3.7m of external funding secured for the
main tech
hub project.
3. Agreed to enter into a funding agreement between the council
and
Futurelabs as a framework for the delivery of the grant.
