06/03/2017 - Request to reduce the contract price for the Community Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Service (Known as Forward Leeds) delivered by Developing Initiatives for Support in the Community (DISC)

ln accordance with Contracts Procedure Rule (CPR) 21.7 the Director of Public

Health has agreed a variation to the Community Drug and Alcohol Prevention,

Treatment and Recovery Service contract (YORE-9F7N76), known as Forward

Leeds, to reduce the contract price (excluding CCG funding) by £670,000 (8%)

p.a. from £8,329,730 to £ 7,659,730 with effect from 1 April 2017 .

Following a 2% reduction to the contract value in 2016/17 this brings the total

amount of savings realised from this service to 10% which is in line with the

overall reduction to public health funding in Leeds.

ln accordance with CPR 21.7, the reduced contract value has already been

consulted on and agreed with DISC who deliver this contract.
