Proposed Extension to the Hours of Pedestrianisation of the Leeds City Centre Retail Core

The report seeks the views of Executive Board on:

 

·  the principle of extending the hours of pedestrianisation in the city centre, in light of the results of the formal consultation;

·  the specific proposal to extend the hours of pedestrianisation to 10.30 – 7pm (rather than 8pm);

·  the requirement to call a public enquiry in order to implement these proposals.
