Basic Need 2015 Bulge Cohort Programme - Modular classroom unit w/ ground work

The Director of Children’s Services is requested to authorise the expenditure of approximately £385k (final cost estimate awaited, will be included within the content of the scheme specific DCR) to facilitate the installation of temporary accommodation at Highfield Primary School required for the temporary form entry intake increase from September 2015. This includes the purchase of a modular classroom unit, installation costs, necessary ground works and setting up fees in anticipation of occupation late August 2015. Highfield Primary School has been identified as the epicentre of project pupil place demand within the Alwoodley ward.
