Approval is sought for the creation of a graduate/trainee scheme specific to ICT and for the creation of new technical posts on the ICT structure to support delivery of key Council projects. Funding for the graduate/trainee scheme and for the new technical posts will be achieved from a combination of existing revenue and current/future capital scheme budgets. The combined salary costs of these posts including on-costs will result in the authority spending over £250,000 per annum meaning this decision falls into the classification of a key decision. Funding of the change will be done through a re-allocation of existing budgets and recent vacancies. |
