Upgrade CCTV systems in WNW in line with arrangements in ENE enabling linking into the LeedsWatch project

The total value of the project is anticipated to be £1.493m over the course of the financial year 2014/15 and 2015/16 the budget for 2014/15 being £700k.  The project includes the procurement of various services and supplies and will require waivers for the purchasing of various specialist IT equipment, cameras, servers, networks and hardware to ensure compatibility with the works already completed in the former East and North East of the city.  The total value of the specialist equipment is anticipated at £999k.  Properties affected include leasehold properties.

This will be undertaken through the local Housing Office staff with an email update to local Ward Members affected by the programme.  Highways department may also need to be informed in terms of any Civil’s taking place on Highways.
