Extension of the Leeds Women's Aid consortium Integrated Outreach, Resettlement and Independent Domestic Violence Advisory Service

Request approval under Contract Procedure Rules 21.1 to enter into the twelve month extension period to the existing contract with Leeds Womens Aid consortium comprising LWA, Halt, Behind Closed Doors to deliver the Integrated Outreach, Resettlement and Independent Domestic Violence Advisory Service.

 

This is a key decision as expenditure is over £250,000.

 

It is recommended that the contract extension be applied to ensure continuity of service provision for existing and new clients while a review of domestic violence and abuse services is undertaken.

Consultation process

The Domestic Violence Programme Board has been informed of the recommendation to invoke the first 12 month extension on the existing contract. This will allow time for the service review of domestic violence provision to be undertaken. The review will involve key partners and stakeholders.
