Consultation process

A wide range of stakeholders have been consulted, both to inform the current service review and to ensure that the future service specification is fit for purpose. We have built into our plans mechanisms for future consultation and check and challenge as we progress:

 

Consultees

All current providers have been consulted through workshops, and annual reports, monitoring meetings and feedback received examined

• All Councillor Health and wellbeing Champions were invited to provide  views via service review templates

• Service user groups were consulted- Laughter Group – (Zest, Health for Life)  Gardening Group – (Feel Good Factor), Rags to Riches – (Health For All) and the Roundhay Park Group (Space 2)

• Citizens were asked to give views via questionnaires in all three localities 20 in East North East, 16 in West North West and 4 in South and East

• Workshops and meetings for other Leeds City stakeholder directorates and commissioners were held-Public Health Healthy Living Team,  Drugs and Alcohol Services Commissioners, Employment and Skills (Community Learning), Job Centre + Adult Social Care, Sport and Active Lifestyles, Area Support Teams, HUB Managers, Migrant Access Project, Equality & Diversity Team

• Presentations to and feedback from all three Clinical Commissioning Groups

• Presentations to and feedback from all three Area Health and Wellbeing Executive Groups

•Best Council Leadership Team provided feedback
