Leeds Grand Theatre and Opera House Limited is a company limited by guarantee, and is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association dated 27th April 1970. It is also a registered charity with the Charity Commission.

Leeds Grand Theatre and Opera House Limited was established to promote a  knowledge and an appreciation of the arts in the field of music, drama and film within the city of Leeds. It achieves such aims by providing a theatre, music hall and picture house to host performances and encourage participation in the arts by the general public.
