The Director of Adults and Health gave
authority to proceed with a procurement process to appoint a
suitable provider or providers to deliver a Carers Emergency Scheme
from 1st April 2020. The budget per annum is £94,950 and the
contract period will be 3 years with an option to extend for a
period of up to 24 months in any combination.
The Director of Adults and Health also noted that -
• Leeds City Council’s Procurement and Commercial
Services (PACS) be requested to undertake the procurement
exercise.
• A further report to approve the contract award will be
submitted for approval at the end of the procurement process and
will be treated as a Significant Operational Decision.
• The officer responsible for implementing the decision will
be the Head of Service, Integrated Commissioning.
