Purpose:
Approval to undertake a competitive grants award process for the continued delivery of Targeted Short Breaks for C&YP with SEND. This is a key decision as the total expenditure for the two year grant will be up to £640k from April 2020 to March 2022.
Decision:
In the absence of the Director of Children and Families, the Deputy Director agreed the implementation of a competitive grants allocation process for delivery of targeted short breaks services for two years from 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2022.
The decision will benefit children and young people with SEND and their families by funding high quality and diverse targeted short breaks. The total budget is up to £635,000.
