Purpose:

Seeking approval for the procurement of a contract to support Leeds Building Services with the supply and installation of communal entrance doors, to housing blocks, city wide. The contract will be for an initial 3 years with an option to extend for 2 further 12 months periods. The total value of the contract, including extensions, is £1.5m (£300k p/a) and we will be looking to award the contract to up to 2 contractors with an estimated start date of 1st April 2020

Decision:

In accordance with the Council’s Contract Procedure Rules 3.1.6, the Director of Resources and Housing approved the recommended procurement route for the appointment of up to 2 contractors to undertake the replacement of communal entrance doors required to Housing Leeds stock. The contract has an estimated value of £300,000 per annum, for a term of 3 years from the 1st April 2020, plus 2 x 12 months optional extensions with a potential total contract value of £1.5m.
