Decision:

The Director of City Development has approved the following in relation to the Covid-19 Discretionary Grant Funds (DGFs) Scheme One and Two funded through the Covid-19 Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) Allocation:

• That Scheme One, for those businesses with fixed property costs of more than £4000 per annum, be re-opened in June 2021 for a final two week application window.
• That Scheme Two, for those businesses with fixed property costs of less than £4000 per annum, be re-opened in June 2021 for a further two week application window.
• That businesses that have already received a grant through Scheme Two be awarded a top-up grant of £250 for businesses with no employees and £500 for businesses with one or more employees. In exceptional circumstances where significant ongoing fixed business costs (excluding wages/salaries) are being incurred and where a wider impact on the Leeds economy can be demonstrated a higher top up award of up to 50% of annual fixed business costs to a maximum of £2,500 will be considered.
