Purpose:

Housing Leeds Property Management are looking to appoint contractors to undertake voids work in domestic properties in Leeds for a period of 6 months in order to support recovery to pre-pandemic citywide void levels. It is anticipated there will be on average 10 properties a week and the value of each piece of work will range between £1,000 & £10,000 per property

Decision:

The Director of Communities, Housing & Environment, in line with Contract Procedure Rule 3.1.7 approved a competitive procurement strategy to procure up to 4 contractors to undertake the backlog voids work in domestic properties for a period of 6 months with the option to extend for a further 6 months.  The estimated value of this work is £1.5m for the initial 6-month period
