Approval will be sought to accept the 2024/25 allocation of the Rough Sleeping Drug & Alcohol Treatment Grant from the Office of Health Improvement & Disparities

Financial and procurement implications

The allocation for 2024/25 is £756,327 and will be used to fund a range of activities. The contract arrangements to be put in place in order to spend the grant, although above £500,000, will be a direct consequence of this Key Decision, and as such will be taken as a Publishable Administrative Decision

Decision:

The Director of Public Health accepted £756,327 from the Office of Health Improvement and Disparities via the Rough Sleeping Drug & Alcohol Treatment Grant for the period 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025. 

Noted that a report will be submitted for the approval of the distribution of this grant. All of the decisions, regardless of value, will be a direct consequence of this key decision and will therefore be a publishable administrative decision at most, which will not be subject to call in.
