The Chief Officer (Highways &
Transportation);
i) noted the content of this report;
ii) approved the extension of the trial of The Calls parklet on the
public highway from late April 2019 to November 2019 ;
iii) approved the delivery of trial The Calls parklet through the
general function of the highway authority to provide
‘green’ amenity improvements which may be exercised by
a third party authorised by them under the provisions of the
Deregulation and Contracting Out Act 1994; and
iv) approved the relocation of the temporary cycle stand currently
sited in a nearby pay and display bay.
