Agreement on the eligibility criteria for food
provision for affected Leeds households requiring support as a
result of covid 19.
Individuals / Families will receive indefinite support packages
where they:
o Have no recourse to public funds.
o Are a pensioner or vulnerable person self-isolating and
can’t pay.
o Are a pensioner or vulnerable person self-isolating and can
pay.
Outside of the above cohorts, anyone needing support on the basis
that they cannot pay will receive up to 4 support packages. In
providing this package of support (over a 3-4 week period), it will
give time for clients to contact the DWP and seek additional
financial assistance if required.
Options to receive direct food delivery or weekly payment of
£25 to single persons and £50 to families.
