To accept a grant offer from the government’s Green Homes Grant and enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tees Valley Combined Authority, who are administering the fund on behalf of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). This MoU commits the council to improve some of the least energy efficient properties across all tenures, with a total expenditure of over £500k, which must be delivered between April and December 2021.
