Local Housing Advisory Panel - Inner West Area Panel

Area Panels
From late summer there will be four Area Panels in the West North West area; these will cover the following areas:

Calverley & Farsley, Pudsey and Farnley & Wortley |

Bramley & Stanningley and Armley |
|
Guiseley & Rawdon, Otley & Yeadon, Adel & Wharfedale and Horsforth |
|
Weetwood, Headingley, Kirkstall and Hyde Park & Woodhouse |
Each Area Panel will work to Terms of Reference and a Code of Conduct. Once these have been confirmed and agreed by each Area Panel they will be available on this website.
Each Area Panel will consist of:
- One Board Director
- Two local Ward members
- Six Tenants
Once operational these meetings will be open to the public and be held on a bi monthly basis on the same cycle as the main Board meetings. Further details relating to the dates and venues will be posted on the website once they have been confirmed.
The remit of the Area Panels is wide and encompasses several service areas. Area Panels will have a number of functions, ranging from monitoring services, influencing their design and being consulted on policy changes and making recommendations on change to these to the main Board.
Each Area Panel will be responsible for a budget which will cover:
- Support for tenants groups
- Support for community groups
- Local environmental budgets
- Local Community safety budgets
