The Whinmoor Public House is closed and has been subject to anti-social behaviour. It is held by way of a long leasehold interest. The Chief Asset Management and Regeneration Officer has approved : (a) The terms provisionally agreed for the acquisition by the Council of the leasehold interest and : (b) That the cost of the acquisition and demolition be met from the Council’s Housing Revenue Account.(c) That the site of the public house be declared surplus to Council requirement subject to further consideration of the options for delivering affordable housing.
