The Leader has made changes to his executive
arrangements to take effect from 1 April 2021 as set out in the
attached documents.
In accordance with Executive and Decision Making Procedure Rule 1.3
the Leader has decided to amend those parts of his Executive
arrangements as shown in the appendices attached; namely
Section 3B(b): Executive Members Oversight of Officer Executive
Delegations
Section 3E: Officer Delegation Scheme (Executive functions);
(a) General Delegations
(c) Director of Resources
(d) Chief Officer Financial Services
(f) Director of Communities, Housing and Environment
(g) Director of City Development
The Leader will present details of these changes, as required by
Rule 1.3 at the next ordinary meeting of full Council.
All delegations remain subject to the saving that where the Leader
or the relevant portfolio holder has directed or the Director
considers it necessary the matter shall be referred to Executive
Board for consideration. The Leader notes that Director’s
functions may in turn be sub-delegated through those
Directors’ sub-delegation schemes to officers of suitable
experience and seniority subject to the same saving
provision.
For the avoidance of doubt all other documents within the
leader’s executive arrangements remain as presented to
Council on 24th February 2021.
