Decision:

In the absence of the Director of Children & Families the Chief Officer, Resources & Strategy gave approval to enter into a grant agreement with White Rose Academies for the total amount of £1,460,989.47 in relation to the bulge works at Leeds City Academy for September 2022. This is split into £511,842.17 capital and £949,147.30 revenue.

Note the revenue charges of £949,147.30 relate to ongoing rental costs for hire of the temporary classrooms.

Note the academy will be responsible for paying the contractor direct as it is a school led project. On receipt of invoices from White Rose Academies, LCC will reimburse the school in line with the terms set out in the grant agreement. Any costs over and above the agreed amount will need to be funded by the academy.

Note that the officer responsible for implementation is the Head of Learning Systems in Children’s and Families Directorate.
