Purpose:

The Director of Resources is requested to approve the competitive tender procurement activity to establish a framework contract for Isolated Rewires. We are seeking to appoint up to 3 contractors to carry out domestic rewiring works for a period of 2 years with an additional 12 months extension available. The value of the contract per annum is £1.2 million with an overall spend of £3.6 million including extensions

Decision:

The Director of Strategy and Resources in line with CPR 3.1.7 approved the procurement strategy to competitively procure a framework agreement to carry out isolated rewires, including bathroom and kitchen rewires to housing properties across the Leeds city area. This framework agreement will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months and an estimated value of £1.5 million per annum. With a total spend of £4,500,000 including extensions.
