Announcements Minutes: (a) The Lord Mayor welcomed members to this meeting of Full Council and also any members of the public who were joining the meeting.
(b) The Lord Mayor reminded those present that the meeting was to be streamed live and would not last longer than 90 minutes .
(c ) The Lord Mayor informed Council of the recent death of Honorary Alderman Rod Wood and Mick Bates the former Leeds United footballer.
Council stood in silent tribute.
(d) The Lord Mayor congratulated all those recipients from Leeds or who work and volunteer in Leeds and who had been recognised in Her Majesty the Queen’s 2021 Birthday Honours list. The Lord Mayor offered his congratulations on the receipt of the award.
(e ) The Lord Mayor also congratulated the England Football Team for reaching the final of the European Championship Tournament, the team included Kalvin Phillips from Leeds and the Lord Mayor informed Council that he had written to the player congratulating him on his success at the tournament. |

To consider the report of the Director of City Development setting out recommendations from the General Purposes Committee on 2nd July 2021 to Full Council in respect of the proposal to Amend the Schedule of Sites Governed by the Council's Byelaws for Pleasure Grounds, Public Walks and Open Spaces.
